Yes! Looks like the Henkei version will not sport the all-spark blue found on Hasbro Classic Ironhide.

Hi,I'm amazed by how you were able to modify the KO Dev.I modify my Ko toy's too but not as good as other modefiers like your self.hope you could teach me,I really really wanted to learn

How did you add more articulations ? what parts did you use ? from another toy or did you bought those parts from e-bay ?
I got a few bootlegs I wanted to upgrade but I don't know how

I got the parts from a Neo Shifter Toy by Mega Block. I used a rotary tool to drill out holes.
I'll post a guide as soon as I have enough time.
